There’s something special about drawing by hand, putting pen to paper. We can find beauty in the imperfections, serving as a gentle reminder that art is a reflection of our own lives.
a quick noteI didn’t always like drawing. There were times, quite frequently, when I would crumple page after page, unhappy with the imperfections.
As an interior designer, sketching became an outlet to investigate and discover new ideas. Rather than focusing on perfection, drawing was a tool, scribbling out thoughts onto paper.
In the fall of 2020, I participated in a creative workshop, reconnecting with my passion of drawing as a way to share with others and build community. As a longtime lover of traveling, I began my journey illustrating postcards, but quickly grew to designing prints and custom invitations too.
Each day is an opportunity to grow and get better, and I am truly grateful for every moment I get to draw. Thank you for sharing in this journey with me.
